Assessing Cambodia’s Readiness

Is Cambodia ready for the ASEAN Economic Community 2015 (AEC)? Download Slide Presentation File

The concept of “readiness” implies the ability to take maximum advantage of the opportunities offered by the institution.
There will be gains, but will we be able to maximize them?

Being part of the AEC will bring in some gains for us, but the important issue is how we can harness the greatest amount of gains from the opportunities that are being opened to us within the ASEAN community.

Since AEC impacts being little understood, with AEC preparations limited only to certain groups of entrepreneurs, a seminar of the year on “Assessing Cambodia’s Readiness in AEC” will be conducted at CAM-ASEAN by our most knowledgeable speaker about AEC issues, Mr. Nop Sophorndara.
